Beautiful German Models and Actresses
In this hub I will feature the most beautiful German models and actresses. Have you wondered who among the most beautiful in the film industry and modeling world are Germans? There are lots of beautiful German models and actresses notable in their fields in modeling, acting, singing and entertaining as well.
Notable models are Heidi Klum which is number one in my list and of course -- Claudia Schiffer and and the legendary model Nastassja Kinski. While there are lots of beautiful actresses, these two are the top in my list --- Franka Potente and Diane Kruger (who appeared as Helen in "Helen of Troy") while Franka Potente appeared in "The Bourne Identity" movie with Matt Damon. Marlene Dietrich is a famous actress in the early 20th century and a legendary film actress. When I was researching about this topic she always comes in the list. In 1999 Marlene Dietrich was awarded by the American Film Institute as the ninth greatest female star of all time.
I also included a cutie Julia Gorges which is a professional tennis player. So come on, join me and we will take a look at images of beautiful German models and actresses.

Nastassja Kinski
- Nastassja Kinski is a German born American actress who appeared in many films -- 60 films all in all. She garnered a Golden Globe award for her role in the movie "Tess' and her two sexy films "Stay as You are" and Cat People". She also appeared in the movies: "The Wrong Move", "Paris", Texas and "Faraway, So Close! In the late 1970s - 1980s, Nastassja Kinski was widely regarded as an international sex symbol. her picture taken by Richard Avedon -- a well known photographer which took her picture with a "python" -- her most notable picture.
Diane Kruger
- Diane Kruger is an actress and at the same time a model. She is included in the "Maxim List of 100 Hottest Woman" in 2005. She won the Cannes Film festival Choppard trophy in 2003. She starred in many blockbuster films: "Troy" as Helen, National Treasure and the recently released film "Inglorious Basterds" in 2009.
- Her first film was with the actor Dennis Hopper and Christopher Lambert in "The Piano Player" -- it is a tv-movie style of film. She also appeared in the movie "Mon Idole" and that is her first major appearance in a film. Other of her filmographies are: "Michel Valliant", "Wicker Park" opposite Josh Harnett. I like her in the movie " Troy" her unforgettable performance as of course "Helen of Troy".

Claudia Schiffer
- Claudia Schiffer is a world class model and is very famous in the 90s because she looks like Brigitte Bardot. Claudia Schiffer is one of the most famous of all the models of all time, as she is very beautiful and carries herself nicely as well. At present, she is married to a film producer and they have two children. The Forbes magazine estimated her net worth at about 55 Million US Dollar. She appeared in a number of films and music videos as well. Her first appearance in film was in a children's movie -- "Richie Rich" in 1994. She also appeared in "The Blackout" opposite Matthew Modine and Dennis Hopper, in "Friends and Lovers" and "Black and White" in 1999. Other filmographies are: "In Pursuit" and 'Life Without Dick" and a small role in "Love Actually" and " "Zoolander".

- Heidi Samuel or Heidi Klum is a beautiful model and a wife to Seal -- the singer. She is a model, actress, television host, business woman, fashion designer, producer of television , artist, and occasional singer. Klum has been on the cover of fashion magazines, including Elle, Marie Claire, Sports Illustrated (SI) and after the SI photo cover shoot she became famous and great for her work with the Victoria Secret. Heidi Klum hosted the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2009 and started the "Project Runway" television series in that same year. She works hard and even though she is mom to four children she is still the glamorous model, beautiful and charming.

She received an Emmy Award nomination for the show for each of the first four seasons.

Marlene Dietrich
- Marlene Dietrich was a German actress and singer --- who later gained American citizenship. She is known as an actress who continually improve herself and reinventing it. In 1999 the American Film Institute named her the ninth greatest female star of all time. She was known for her beauty, exotic looks and she still made occasional films in the post-war years, She started her career in the early 20th century. Dietrich spent most of the 1950s to the 1970s touring the world as a successful show performer.
- Her performance as Lola-Lola in "The Blue Angel" by Josef von Stenberg brought her into international stardom and she was contracted to the "Paramount Pictures. She also appeared in the film "Shanghai Express" and "Desire"

- Died -- 6 May 1992
- Natalia Avelon is a Polish-German singer and an actress who was born in Poland but later on her family moved to Germany when she was still a child.
- The highlight of Natalia Avelon's career was when she played 1960's sex symbol Uschi Obermaier in the film "Das Wilde Leben".
- Born -- March 29, 1980
Franka Potente
- Franka Potente is a German film actress and became famous by portraying the role of of Barbara Buckley in Blow (2001) and the female lead star of the film "The Bourne Identity" with Matt Damon. She also appeared in numerous low budgeted films. She first appeared in the film action thriller "Run Lola Run" in 1998. She received the highest award in Germany for this film. After a career of almost five years in Germany film industry she became known in Hollywood because of acting opposite Matt Damon in 2002.
- Franka Potentes films are into romantic comedies, drama, science fiction and action thrillers.
- Born -- July 22, 1974
- Julia Jentsch is a Silver Bell and a two time European Film awardee and a LOLA German winning actress. She was born to a family of lawyers in Germany. Her first prominent screen role was in the 2004 film which focuses on cult -- " The Edukators" opposite Daniel Bruhl. Julia Jentsch came into fame when she played the title role in the film " Sophie Scholl – The Final Days" -- which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. As Sophie Scholl, she won the best actress at the European Film Awards -- best actress at the German Film Awards and silver Bear for best actress -- Berlin Film Festival.

Julia Gorges
Julia Gorges is a young cutie professional tennis player -- with a girl next door look. As of February 2010 reached a career high ranking of the entire world, this is for singles, number 64 and on doubles -- 303. She has won 4 ITF -- International Tennis Federation" singles titles and 3 ITF doubles titles.
